The process to get your home connected to fibre broadband involves up to three visits to your property, however it could be less depending on the type of home you have.
We need someone to be present for at least two of the three visits – specifically, the first visit and the last visit.
Someone over the age of 18 needs to be present for the Plan appointment, who is authorised to agree to the plan and sign our End User Terms. This appointment will be completed within an agreed two hour window.
The build visit - to bring the fibre from the street to the outside wall of your home - can be completed without you and we will follow the agreed plan.
We then also need someone to be present during the final internal Connect appointment. They need to grant access to our contractors and be able to make decisions if there is an unforeseen issue with the planned connection. We will agree a four hour window for this visit.
To find out more about what’s involved during each of the three visits, watch our short installation video.
