Enable is a Lifeline Utility provider and can continue all fibre broadband connection activity safely under Alert Levels 1, 2 and 3. Under Alert Level 4, we connected essential customers only.
We can quickly and easily move our business to a working from home model in support of our key priority of keeping our community and our people safe. We can operate all functions of our organisation under this new model with added safety precautions, and continue to do so.
To ensure the safety of our people and our community, we are only connecting customers when it is safe to do so. As with all alert levels, our field technicians will adhere to strict controls in line with Government recommendations – including physical distancing, hand hygiene, using personal protective equipment inside people’s homes and contact tracing. We’ll also screen customers via phone prior to their appointment for COVID-19 cases or symptoms.
We are conscious of the need to support our community to play their role to stop the spread of COVID-19 by staying at home – and a fast, reliable fibre broadband internet connection is a big part of this.
