The process to get your home connected to fibre broadband involves up to three visits, however it could be less depending on the type of home you have. You can watch our short installation video for a simple explanation on what occurs during each of the three visits.
The time it takes from placing your order to getting connected can vary. It can take a few weeks – particularly if consent is required from some of your neighbours (for example if you live in a block of units) or you rent and require landlord consent.
PLAN - agree the plan
We'll meet you at your home to discuss and agree the path the fibre will take to get from the boundary of your property to where the equipment will be installed inside your home. Either yourself or someone you authorise needs to be present to agree to the plan, please allow two hours for this appointment.
BUILD - complete the build
We'll complete the outside work to bring the fibre from the boundary to the outside wall of your home, as per the agreed plan. You do not need to be home for this visit.
CONNECT – get you connected
Now we will bring the fibre inside your home, run the internal cabling and connect you to our network. You need to be home for this appointment, please allow four hours.
You can get the ball rolling by placing an order for Enable fibre broadband with your internet provider today.
