The process to get your business connected to fibre broadband involves up to three visits. You can watch our short installation video for a simple explanation on what occurs during each of the three visits.
The time it takes from placing your order to getting connected can vary. It can take a few weeks – particularly if consent is required (for example your business is a leased premise with multiple units) - you may require permission from your landlord or other tenants.
PLAN - agree the plan
We'll will meet you at your property to discuss and agree the path we'll take from the property boundary to where Enable’s network equipment (called an ONT or ONU) and your service providers’ router will be installed. We'll meet you within an appointment window, please allow time for the whole morning or afternoon. If a building owner or owner’s agent is required to sign off on the plan, we recommend they attend this meeting.
BUILD - complete the build
During this visit, our team will complete any preparation work required to bring the fibre to the outside wall of your building as per the agreed plan. You shouldn't need to be present for this visit, unless we require access to a secure area.
CONNECT – get you connected
We’ll complete all remaining work to bring the fibre from the outside of your business to the agreed location for the network equipment. This can take anywhere from several hours to a couple of days depending on the complexity of your installation.
You can get the ball rolling by placing an order for Enable fibre broadband with your internet service or IT provider today.
