Check your fibre equipment is connected correctly
You can do so by reading our article ‘What does a fibre setup inside the home look like?’. The Optical Network Terminal (ONT) should be plugged in and power light illuminated to indicate it’s turned on.
Check your phone connection
If your phone connects to the ONT or Wifi Modem - Your phone will generally be plugged into the port labelled TEL1 and will work shortly after your broadband is activated. Depending on your provider this could either be the TEL1 port on the Optical Network Terminal (ONT) or the Wi-Fi modem/router, but please ensure you contact your internet provider in the first instance to walk you through connecting your phone.
If your equipment is connected correctly and your phone is still not working, please contact your internet provider to log the issue with them – they’ll contact us if the issue relates to our network.
